- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 large or 3 small Potatoes
- 2 tbsp Cilantro
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 small onion - finely chopped
- 5 green chillies - thinly chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Cooking Method:
- Mix wheat flour, salt and 2 tsp oil into a soft dough by adding necessary water
- Divide the dough into equal portioned balls as per required size
- Meanwhile boil the potatoes and peel off the skin
- Mash the potatoes and add onions, green chillies, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and cilantro and mix it well
- Take dough ball and flatten it on palm and stuff with above mixture and roll into a ball.
- Flatten the balls into thick round parathas using rolling pin
- Grease a pan with little oil or ghee and heat on a medium flame
- Cook the parathas until both sides are cooked through.
